On Septemat Tokyo Game Show 2013, during a Saturday stage event at the "Game no Dengeki" booth, the publisher ASCII Media Works and Game Developer SEGA announced the 2D side-scrolling crossover fighting game, Dengeki Bunko: FIGHTING CLIMAX. In Ignition, the game's previous arcade storyline has been revoked and replaced with those from Dream Duel Mode.
